Supriya’s mother supports Niru. This widow stands nowhere. Her husband tells her not to say anything. We have no right to speak in between. It’s their personal matter. Sagar asks everyone if they heard it. He is the same judge who gives makes decisions on every case. He remembers everything about law. Sadly, he ignored a very important chapter of law as per his convenience. Legally, a widow is allowed to remarry. But our judge is declining a widow of the same. He took her responsibility and thought of her as his daughter. He spoke of fulfilling it all. It is easier to tell people about right and wrong when on high pedestal but following them in real life is very difficult. Papa knows it too well as he cannot even look Ganga in the eye today. Amma ji tells him to stop but he refuses. I know you don’t like to hear something against your son. How would you? A mother is like that after all. But why did it happen with me? How did my parents’ hearts turned into stone? They cannot see my wish, my yearning, my love, nothing! You all did a very big favour on me by giving me your family name, but what if I removed your name from my name? Madhvi is in tears.
Amma ji asks Sagar if he will lose his father’s name and them. Listen carefully, neither I nor this society allows anyone to put colours on this widow! Open your eyes. Today I will fill Ganga colourless life with colours. Flashback shows all the ladies of ashram breaking Ganga’s bangles and removing vermilion off her forehead. He throws all the colours of Holi on Ganga one by one and puts the red colour in her forehead. All these colours are yours too now! All the family members look on shocked and dejected. I give them all to you. Now there will be no law, court or judge who can snatch it from you. Supriya looks happy.
Sagar holds Ganga’s hand and walks up to his father. You must be feeling angry. Your narrow-mindedness came out before everyone. It wouldn’t have happened if you had acted strong / brave. I wont blame you though because you are a coward! You brought a widow home to make name for yourself in the society. You became a coward while fearing the very same society. How will you save people when you yourself got scared of law? I understand everything. These old traditions and customs have held you back. You are not brave enough to take the right decision. Sagar throws flower petals at them. Everyone stops at once. Sagar wishes them Happy Holi. Sudha says it is good you threw flower petals, not colours or you would have committed a very big sin today otherwise. Widows don’t celebrate Holi. They have nothing to do with colours. He says I have committed one sin in the eyes of my family members. Ganga walks inside. All the ladies are shocked to see her. Sagar tells Sudha to look carefully. Should there be any other colour too? I put all the colours on her and filled her colours with life once again. With the darkest colour is of my love! Every colour fades before it. You know what punishment I got for loving her? I had to break all my ties with my loved ones!
Madhvi says he broke all ties for that Ganga. Amma ji says everything has broken apart. Niru refuses to let his family or house break. It is my mistake. I kept hopes from the wrong son. I always praised Sagar and found faults with Pulkit. Sagar broke all the ties. Pulkit is the elder son of the family. Keeping a family together is the responsibility of the elder son only. Madhvi asks him about his whereabouts. We have been waiting for you. You dint come in Holi too. Niru asks about the lawyer. Pulkit says I have to do some formalities. They ask him about it. Pulkit says papa is right. I don’t like begging people for money time and again. I don’t like it. I ask for my right from you today. I too have a right on this house and on Dada ji’s property. I want my share. Everyone is taken aback.
Pulkit says I have been a loser in father’s eyes. I know I couldn’t do anything but I finally want to stand on my own feet. I am not asking for any loan but m y right only. You will give it to me right or I will have to go to court? Amma ji asks him if he is mad. You are threatening to drag your father to court? Home is made by people not stones. Madhvi shares what Niru just said. He was hoping you to hold the family together. Don’t do this. Ratan tells Pulkit he is doing wrong. There are problems in every house but you can talk and sort it out. Prabha seconds him. Pulkit says I have had enough. I have been taunted day and night. Do I have any self-respect or not? madhvi tells him it cannot happen till she is alive. She tries to make him understand but in vain. Niru tells her not to do anything like that. Let him take whatever he wants. He tells Pulkit the same. Don’t ruin the family’s respect by going in court. One son already made a fun of us before everyone. I don’t have the courage to bear another drama. He leaves from there all sad.
NIru closes the door of his study room and cries silently. Supriya is about to say something but Pulkit signals her against it. Prabha acts to console Madhvi. Niru sits on the floor.
Sudha tells Sagar and Ganga they are not doing right. Sagar says we did what we felt is right. Sudha turns to Ganga. Do you know what will be the outcome of this? Ganga replies she never cared for results. Why would she care today? Sudha knows how stubborn they both are. Nothing can happen. Sagar nods. CMTELLYUPDATEYou said the right thing. sudha wants to know what they will be doing next. Sagar tells Sudha he is leaving Ganga here for tonight. We will marry tomorrow in court. Ganga does not want to marry without anyone’s consent. He reasons that they tried. Why care about them when they don’t care about us? We are adults. We can do whatever we wish. Even judge sahab wont be able to do anything. We will go there with proper papers. We will see what he does next.
Sagar comes next day to ashram. He asks for Ganga. Sudha tells him to let her sleep. She was restless entire night. She fell asleep a while ago only. Sagar looks at her sweetly as she sleeps. Sudha asks him if she should wake up Ganga. He asks her to come out for a minute with him. She goes outside with him. sagar says we have no papers of Ganga. We made an affidavit for her when she joined school. Did you have any of her documents when she was brought here? Sudha recalls making Raghav ji sign a paper when he had brought Ganga here. Sagar tells her to bring it. I will go to get her school’s affidavit. She asks him if he is sure about it. He nods. He leaves a packet with her. Sudha looks at the content and a smile appears on her face.
Niru fell asleep on the floor only. He wakes up hearing some sound. He notices the stuff of the house getting shifted. He finds a line in the house marking the division. Supriya looks sad. She prays. Madhvi comes there. You dint sleep at night? Amma ji says my Banaras is polluted. It is as if all the sinners have come here only. She is about to step to the other side when Niru stops her from doing so. She is puzzled. He says the house has been divided. Pulkit walks in with his lawyer. Niru says our kids divided the house. Amma ji tells Pulkit to think again. don’t divide ancestral property. Your Dada ji’s soul lives here.CMTELLYUPDATE He knows what this house means to them but is helpless. Lawyer asks Niru to sign on an affidavit so half of the property can be transferred in Pulkit’s name. Niru quietly signs the documents. He throws it on the floor, asking Pulkit to keep them. This is what you wanted. Don’t come before my eyes after today! Pulkit asks Madhvi to come with him. You will live with me. Niru says Madhvi wont go anywhere. Pulkit insists. It is only mom who understands me. How can she leave my side? madhvi walks towards the line when Niru warns her not to take another step forward or their relation will be over. Relations, hearts got divided. You have to decide who you want to stay with now – your son or your husband! Madhvi takes a step back. Pulkit says judge sahab snatched a mother from a son today. Don’t come to this side now come what may (if I live or die). He asks Supriya if she is coming with him or not. Did you also decide to break your ties with me? Madhvi cries. Supriya folds her hands before the elders of the house. I am very sorry. Please forgive me. I came in this house thinking that I will live with you all forever. but what to do? I promised to be with Pulkit. I have to be away from you. Madhvi says I brought you in this house with so many hopes. Supriya tells her not to cry. I too will have to choose my husband like you. I am helpless. A guy ties a rope over the line just then. Niru walks away from there.
Niru feels dizzy as he steps in his room. He drops a few things while he tries to gain balance. He falls down on floor holding his chest. Madhvi and Amma ji come running there. They call out for Maharaj ji.
Sagar comes to ashram with the affidavit. Sudha shows him the paper she found. He goes quiet when he senses Ganga’s presence. Ganga comes wearing a colourful saree. Sagar looks at her mesmerised. Sudha reminds Sagar of the papers. Ganga smiles. He tries not to look at Ganga. He speaks of going to court and of arranging tickets for Delhi. I want to take Ganga to Delhi with me. I have a friend there who will arrange for our stay. Ganga speaks of his family but he does not want to stay where no one respects her. I always listen to you. you will have to listen to me today. He tells Sudha to bring Ganga to court when he will call her. Sudha agrees. Sagar tells Ganag to come on time. She nods. He compliments Ganga. You look very beautiful, completely different. Sudha tells Ganga to pack her bags. You wont get time later. Ganga has nothing except Sagar. Sudha asks her if she really has nothing other than some bitter memories. Ganga has lot many good and sweet memories of everyone and of her Bappa. Ganga realises she left all of her Bappa’s memories in that house only. I left my cycle, bangles, jewellery, saree (all given by Bappa), everything in that trunk only. They are very valuable for me. I have to bring them from there. Sudha tells her against it. don’t go without telling Sagar. Ganga stays put. Bappa left me. I have only his memories now.

PRECAP:
Raghav ji tells Niru that Sagar is leaving town for forever. He is marrying Ganga in court after which he will leave for Delhi with Ganga. Niru starts breathing heavily. Madhvi calls out for Amma ji in fear.
