Dev imagines Sona and realizes that he loves Sona. He nervously stands in front of mirror and panics that whatever Sona feels he is feeling same. He then remembers Natasha/NG and thinks how can he betray her.
Sona cries on bed thinking Dev will get engaged to tomorrow and will be of someone else’s, she cannot love him from tomorrow. Her love story will end before starting.
Dev comes to Ishwari’s room and says Natasha. She asks what.. Nikki and Ria enter and taunt that bhaiya is chanting Natasha’s name. Ishwari asks what he wants to talk. Dev says he will come later and leaves.
Sona hears door bell, opens door and sees Dev standing who asks why did not she tell that she loves him and says I love you. She stands in a surprise, but wakes up hearing milkman’s voice and realizes it is milkman and not Dev. Milkman says he has 2 months due pending. Dad comes and checks Sona’s forehead and says she is having fever. He takes her to room and brings turmeric mixed milk. Elena also comes. Sona says she will be fine soon. Elena says dad let her take rest and if she does not get well, they will take her to clinic tomorrow.
Dev drives car, stops and calls Natasha. Natasha is busy with manicure and mehandi. She asks dadi to give her phone. Dadi speaks herself and starts speaking to him. Dev speaks for a minute and disconnects call. He goes back to Ishwari, but Radha comes and starts describing how she is arranging engagement single handedly. He leaves again for office.
Sourav comes to Sona’s room, checks her forehead and says he will bring medicine. She says she will be fine. He says when Dev can understanding everything, why is he not understanding her love, he will speak to Dev. Sona says no and says it would been better if she would not have met Dev, at least she would not have been in such a pain.
Radha sees her husband hiding something and asks what is it. He shows gold chain pendant and says it is for Dev’s wife. Radha says it is such an old ugly design. Husband says her mom gave it to him and wished it to gift it to Dev’s wife. She says if it is his mom’s, then it should go to Vicky’s wife and they will give 501 rs envelope as gift to Dev’s wife and lie that they added 11,000 rs. Husband says his mom’s wish matters to him and snatches chain from her.
Dev goes to office. Tina asks if he needs anything. He shouts no and asks to go, then apologizes and says he is upset. She asks what happened. He asks if he Natasha came. Natasha comes and says she is here.
Precap: Dev says Natasha he has to talk to Gujral and describe his mistake. Natasha says she will speak to dad and he will understand only her.
At Sona’s home, Asha gets tired thinking of ideas to write her novel. She asks family to suggest a story. Sourav suggests one. Asha says it is Tagore’s story. Daadi suggests one. Asha says it is also a novel story. Daadi says she just saw it yesterday on TV. Asha asks Sona to suggest a story. Sona says she has a story and tells her story that a common girl thought herself as princess and fell in love with price, when she fell ill, prince married another princess, and girl realized she was just common and does not have right to dream of a prince. Asha says this story is not good. Sona starts weeping. Elena consoles her.
Tailor brings Dev’s sherwani. Ishwari calls Dev’s mobile, but he does not pick call. Dev is at office and waits for Natasha. Natasha comes. He says thank god she came. She says her daadi taunts her a lot taking his name. He says she is beautiful, intelligent, mature, etc. He asks what is the problem. He says he does not love her and cannot marry her. She stands in a shock with teary eyes. He says when he does not love her, he does not want to marry her and push her into forced relationship. She asks whom he loves then. He stands silently. She says it is her right to know. He says Ms. Bose. She says when he loves Sonakshi, then why did he agree to marry her and why did not he reject her dad’s proposal. He says even he did not know that he loves Sona and just realized. He says Natasha that she is a good girl. She says she is good girl for the world but not for him. He asks if they can live happily knowing this. She says he is right. He says he made a mistake and will explain her dad. She says her dad will understand only her. He says it is his mistake and he will explain her dad. She says thank you for the best birthday gift of her life. Dev feels sorry.
Nikki and Ria wear engagement dress and run behind each other. Radha comes and says still it is time for engagement and their clothes will spoil. Nikki says she is looking beautiful. Radha gets shy and says many boys used to roam behind her in her youth. Nikki and Ria laugh. Radha gets embarrassed and asks where is Dev. Ishwari says Dev did not pick her call at all and must be stuck somewhere. Mama comes he is Dev Dixit and not Radha’s joker son Vicky. Ishwari calls Dev’s office and asks Tina if she knows where is Dev. Tina says Dev was in office and left just 5 min ago, even Natasha was with him. Radha comments that Dev is madly in Natasha’s love and forgot to call Ishwari. Ishwari gets sad that Dev did not call her back.
Sona cries holding pillow on her face. Elena tries to console her, but she continues crying.
Ishwari and Radha get ready for engagement. Dev comes home after some time. Mama says Dev came. Ishwari sees Dev tensed and asks what happened. Dev says this engagement will not happen. Everyone stand in a shock.
