WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND......

Marcelo goes out into the hall way of city hall as he receives a call from Lucia. He asks her where she is but Lucia wants him to forgive her because she can’t marry him today because of Nora. She doesn’t know exactly what’s going on but she needs to be with her and support her. She will call him later to explain but she begs him to forgive her again and hangs up.

The witnesses are waiting and Magdalena hopes Lucia gets there soon as the judge has only given them 10 more minutes. Marcelo comes in and announces that the wedding is cancelled because Lucia isn’t coming. Everyone wants to know why but even he doesn’t know. He thanks everyone and leaves.

Rebeca goes to Gloria’s house to see if Nora is there with her. Gloria tells her she isn’t and she hasn’t seen Nora in days. Rebeca tries to leave and Gloria asks if everything is okay. Rebeca explains that she left the house in a hurry and forgot her phone. She thought she heard her mention Gloria’s name so she went to see. Gloria tells her that if she sees or hears from Nora, she will let her know. Rebeca thanks her and leaves.

Roman brings in some tea for Nora and tells her she couldn’t locate her mother but Lucia is coming to take her home. Nora asks if he told her anything but Roman confesses he didn’t and his professional ethics prevent him from doing so. Nora thanks him but Roman makes it clear that she will eventually have to pay for what she did. Nora reiterates that it was an accident and she doesn’t want go to jail for it. Roman tells her that if it’s an accident, nothing bad will happen but Nora knows no one will believe her.
Roman congratulates her on taking the first step and coming to him but she needs to commit to therapy and eventually tell the truth. Nora asks if he will help her and Roman will and Nora thanks him again as he’s the only person she can trust. Roman reminds her that she can trust Rebeca but Nora doesn’t want to talk about her; she’s glad Roman couldn’t tell Rebeca where she was.

Just then the doorbell rings and Roman suggests she go wash her face. Roman goes to answer the door and Lucia comes in, flustered, rambling about how she left her car in a street and came as fast as she could. Lucia left the house when Nora was in a crisis but she never imagined she would go to him.
He’s glad that she did and Lucia explains that Nora had her crisis because she’s getting married to Marcelo but Roman tells her that it has nothing to do with her this time. Lucia asks what is the reason for the crisis but Roman is cryptic. He tells Lucia to offer her support and not ask many questions. Nora walks in and she embraces Lucia, thanking her for coming in. Lucia hugs her back and then thanks Roman before leaving.

Rodrigo is in his office remembering his hanky panky time with Daniela when Amador walks in, pissed, because he can’t find Nazario. Amador thinks he disappears on purpose so he doesn’t have to fulfill his order so Rodrigo suggest he tell Rebeca. Amador tells him that Rebeca hasn’t even come in the past few days and Rodrigo tells him that Lucia hasn’t either.
Amador offers to go visit them to see if they’re okay and because they were Alonso’s family but Rodrigo reminds him that all the marital troubles he’s had were because of Rebeca. Rodrigo asks Amador if he likes Rebeca and Amador admits that while she’s very attractive, he would never get involved with her. He’s just going to see if she’s okay.

Milagros is getting ready for her day when Rafaela walks in and asks where she’s going. Milagros tells her that she’s going to coffee with a friend and Rafaela hopes it’s not Daniela as he heard that Alfredo wants her nowhere near Daniela.
Milagros chides her for listening in on her conversation and Rafaela apologizes but agrees with Alfredo because Milagros should not be making a bad situation worse with her meddling. Milagros explains that Daniela’s not her only friend and then stares at Rafaela a few seconds before leaving. Rafaela follows her to the door to see if she’s left and then goes snooping around her room to see if she can find PLOT GUN. She finds one of the drawers locked and wonders if it’s there.

Lucia arrives home with Nora and finds Tere, who explains that Rebeca had left in a huff to try and find Nora and Roman had also called, trying to find Rebeca but no one could find her. Lucia explains that it was probably to tell her he found Nora but when she arrives she’ll see Nora’s fine.
Tere tells Lucia that Marcelo is waiting in the living room and Nora has a little silent freak-out. Lucia asks Tere to take Nora to her room and Nora goes willingly, looking around frantically, as Lucia whispers that she “calm down” and “everything will be okay”.

Lucia goes to the living room and finds Marcelo sitting with his head down. She greets him and he stands up, clearly annoyed by the whole situation. Lucia explains that Nora had another crisis and this sets Marcelo off: he’s tired of always hearing Nora, Nora, Nora and asks for how much longer will she let Nora blackmail her.
Lucia tells him that it’s not a lie or blackmail this time, Nora is hurting and even if Roman says it’s not because of the wedding, she’s sure it is because of it. Marcelo thought she wasn’t going to see Roman anymore but Lucia explains that she saw him only because of Nora. Marcelo explains that he clearly can’t be happy with the situation, no matter the reason, especially because he thought she wanted to marry him.
Lucia does but it wasn’t the time and she thought he would understand because of what recently happened with Daniela. He does but he loves her more than anything and wants to be with her forever. Lucia wants to also but reminds him that Daniela is right and they can’t build their happiness on top of the misery of others. Marcelo asks if they let others be happy from their frustration. That’s not what Lucia wants, she wants to be his wife, but they must wait for the right time. They kiss and Marcelo goes off in a huff.

Outside, Marcelo runs into Rebeca who asks what he is doing there. Marcelo tells her that he was visiting his bride to be and Rebeca asks why he calls Lucia that as she thought they’d be married by now. Marcelo reveals that they would be if it weren’t for Nora, who is now in the house. Rebeca asks if she told him where she was but Marcelo tells her she did not, only that she was having a crisis.
Rebeca thanks God that Nora didn’t do something they’d all regret, like his brother and Marcelo doesn’t appreciate the comparison, especially because he only committed suicide because Rebeca made him feel like dirt. Rebeca agrees and tells him that the only reason Nora would do something would be because Marcelo humiliated her and she hopes he never has to carry that guilt on his conscience. Marcelo is surprised to hear she even feels remorse about Federico and Rebeca reveals that she does, even if he doesn’t believe her. Marcelo walks off and Rebeca runs into the house…

…And into Nora’s room and chides her for telling Roman the truth. Nora confesses that she can’t with the guilt anymore and Roman can help her. Rebeca hopes she feels the same way once he reveals the truth to the police. Nora tells her that Roman promised not to tell anymore because of his profession but Rebeca reiterates that the only person she can trust is her.
Nora’s not so sure she can because there are a lot of things that don’t add up one of which is the photo Ricardo showed her with her dedication in the back. Rebeca argues that it’s not her handwriting but Nora didn’t notice. She asks that Rebeca swear she never seduced Ricardo and made him leave Magdalena. Rebeca turns around and Nora asks that she not lie to her again except this is Rebeca and she swears on Nora’s life that she had nothing to do with Ricardo.

Magdalena comes down to her living room and finds Sara waiting for her. She’s not too happy to see her since Sara called Rebeca a murderer but Sara wants to apologize. Magdalena understands that she hates Rebeca but she’s not predisposed to think the worse of her sister either. Sara explains that she had a deal with Alonso to find out the truth about what happened to Adriana but she is going to stop because it’s become too stressful. She apologizes to Magdalena for how she’s made her feel and hopes that her vendetta hasn’t affected their friendship.
Magdalena embraces her and confirms it has not. Sara then asks her about Lucia’s and Marcelo’s wedding and Magdalena explains that it never happened because Lucia didn’t show up. She has no idea what happened but she will call Lucia later. Sara explains that it was probably because of Nora because Lucia told her Nora may be having a crisis for real this time and not just to blackmail her.

Milagros meets Daniela for lunch and wonders what took her so long. She asks Daniela if Alfredo asked her to stay away from her as well. Daniela reveals that he only asked her to stay away from Marcelo for the time being. Milagros then reveals that Lucia and Marcelo are getting married but Daniela doesn’t care.
This time it’s for real: she is going to move on from Marcelo. She leaves but Milagro chases her down and tells her all is not lost. Daniela asks her to let her be and then tells her to go bother the woman who murdered Federico. Milagros asks what that has to do with anything and Daniela explains that she had hid the truth out of consideration for Marcelo but if he’s going to treat her like dirt then there’s no reason why she should keep his secret: the woman who killed Federico is Rebeca Murillo.
Milagros wants to know how she knows it’s Rebeca and Daniela explains that she read the PI’s report around the time she got out of the hospital but didn’t say anything to keep the peace with Marcelo. Alfredo didn’t say anything either because Marcelo asked him to. Milagros chides her for her lack of solidarity, especially because Milagros has always helped her but Daniela already said all she had to say. Milagros storms off.

That night, Rebeca meets Amador in the Gaxiola study. Amador gives her an extra close, extra-long kiss and Rebeca silently smiles and sits down across from him, knowingly. Amador explains that he was worried because she didn’t show up at the factory and thought maybe she was grieving for Ricardo. Rebeca makes it clear her and Ricardo had been nothing and reveals that Nora is going through a crisis so she stayed home to help her. Amador figures it must be hard for her now, handling everything alone and Rebeca agrees so Amador offers his unconditional support.
He touches her thigh, then her hand and then her thigh again and Rebeca crawls a few inches back, away from his touch. She confirms she can handle everything alone but Amador tells her that she doesn’t have to be alone. Rebeca tells him that it’s better to be alone than in bad company but Amador insists she call him if she were to ever need anything. He stands up to leave and tries to kiss Rebeca on the lips but she quickly turns her head. She laughs so he wishes her luck and leaves. Once he’s gone she ponders what the hell he’s planning now.

Lucia tells Magdalena that she’s sad she couldn’t marry Marcelo but she had other priorities and things to take care of. Magdalena admires Lucia’s ability to care and forgive Nora, despite everything she has done to her in the past. She doesn’t approve of her putting Nora above her own wellbeing but Lucia explains that she’s her only sister and it was her father’s greatest wish to seem them behaving like sisters and mutually supporting each other.
Magdalena asks if she’s only doing it for Alonso and Lucia admits she is, in part, but also because she loves Nora. Magdalena admits that she’s teaching her a great lesson because there’s a lot of things about Rebeca that she hasn’t been able to forgive. Lucia asks if she wouldn’t feel bad if something happened to Rebeca but Magdalena makes it clear that that’s something else. Lucia tells her that she shouldn’t be giving advice because she has had her own problems with Rebeca but she’s also not her sister or mother, nor did they have the same parents. Magdalena tears up at this.

Milagros arrives home and looks at Federico’s ashes. Rafaela comes and asks how it went with her friend and Milagros tells her that it couldn’t have been better. Rafaela asks if she wants anything for dinner but Milagros silently walks away. Rafaela then goes to the living room and calls Marcelo to tell him that she has not been able to find PLOT GUN but she did find a locked drawer. Marcelo asks that Rafaela get a locksmith first thing tomorrow and hangs up.

Marcelo hangs up as well as Nazario arrives home and reveals that he heard the tail end of the conservation. He wants to know what gun he was referring to and Marcelo explains that it was his father’s gun which Nora used to shoot Lucia. Marcelo then kicks himself for not getting rid of the gun in the first place and Nazario suggests that he ask his mother directly for the gun.
Marcelo doesn’t think it’s a good idea because his relationship with his mother is on the rocks right now. Nazario tells him that he doesn’t have to share anything with him and Marcelo admits that telling him would be like accusing her of a crime without having proof. Nazario suggests that he be sure before saying anything and Marcelo admits that he threatened Milagros about doing something, just to see her reaction, and she forbade him to do it so he suggests something’s wrong. Nazario tells him that regardless of what she may have done, she’s still her mother.

Milagros is in bed…thinking possibly about how to get revenge on the woman who took her son away from her…

Daniela arrives home to find Alfredo waiting for her. He wants to know where she’s been and Daniela tells him that she went to have coffee with Milagros and she won’t stop seeing her just because he told her to. Alfredo suggests she does because all she does is fill her head with false hopes but Daniela doesn’t care.
Marcelo has been the love of her life and just because she stops talking to Milagros doesn’t mean still stop thinking about Marcelo. Alfredo asks if he thinks about him as much as she thinks about Ricardo but Daniela admits that Ricardo meant nothing to her. Alfredo asks if she would care if he were dead because he found out he was murdered when he went to Puebla. Daniela is taken aback but Alfredo reminds her that she doesn’t care about him.

Nora is in bed when Lucia walks in and asks her how she’s doing. Nora admits she’s doing better and thanks her for picking her up at Roman’s. Lucia tells her it was her pleasure and she’s always there to help. Nora asks if she was able to marry Marcelo and Lucia admits she didn’t so Nora asks if it was because of her.
Lucia begins to explain what happened but notices Nora’s wrists and Nora realizes her mistake. She quickly tries to hid her arms under the covers but Lucia grabs them and demands to see them. She notices the scars are old and there are no new bandages on them. She gets up and tells Nora that she saw her dress covered in blood and Rebeca had told her it was because she had cut her wrists again but that’s not true. Nora begs Lucia to not ask her anything but Lucia demands to know what she did. Nora starts moaning and groaning and Lucia tells her that she needs to know what happened so she can help her. Nora begs Lucia to leave her alone and Lucia finally obliges.

Mario is looking at the sewn baby blanket when Magdalena gets home. He asks her why she bought it and Magdalena explains that it was Maria, one of her patients at the hospital, who gave it to her. She knows she’s not pregnant but she has a feeling she will be by the end of the month. Mario tells her that they will never pregnant because he’s the problem. He reveals that he got his tests backs and he’s sterile.
Magdalena doesn’t believe it, she thinks it’s an error, and suggests that he go to a specialist. Mario reveals he did and the results were the same. He didn’t want to tell her before he was sure and apologizes for not being able to give her what she most wants in life. She looks at him but doesn’t say anything else and he leaves, destroyed.

Lucia is chasing Rebeca around the house, asking her what happened with Nora. Rebeca tells her it’s not her problem and tries to close the study doors but Lucia rips them open. She tells Rebeca it’s her problem because Rebeca told her that Nora tried to commit suicide again because of her when it wasn’t true. Rebeca screams that it was because of her…and other things. Lucia wants to know what these “other things” are and ask that Rebeca not play dumb because she saw the bloody dress. Rebeca suggests that if she cares about her sister’s wellbeing she leave Nora alone and her and stop questioning them. She storms off.

Clarita is at home, folding clothes, when she hears a knock on the door. It’s Lalo who’s come to inquire about Benito’s health since he found out he started a new treatment. Clarita explains that he’s tired but he will get used to it in a few weeks. Lalo is sure he will and then offers her the job as his cleaning lady back.
Clarita asks if he isn’t scared that she’s going to rob him and Lalo admits that he overreacted but she needs to understand that when he found out what happened at the Gaxiola household he felt betrayed. He asks that she not hold a grudge, especially now that she needs the money for Benito’s treatment. Clarita admits that she has that part taken care of even if she had to sell her soul to the Devil. Lalo asks what she means but Clarita waves it off and ask that he come in and visit Benito. She’s sure he would enjoy his company. He goes in and Benito is happy to see him.

Amador is at home, remembering his earlier tête–à–tête with Rebeca. He finishes off his drink and then goes upstairs to his room, where Brigida is already sleeping. She gets up immediately and asks what he’s doing there. Amador tells her that he’s trying to sleep and Brigida remains him that he no longer sleeps there.
Amador approaches her and reminds her that he does sleep there and then kisses her and they fall on the bed. Brigida screams at him to let her go but Amador tells her that she has to be a wife every once in a while. He doesn’t stop so she scratches his face and he gets off her. Brigida runs to the window and warns him to leave her alone or she’ll start screaming and all the neighbors will find out. He continues to walk toward her so Brigida starts to scream at the top of her lungs. Amador finally gives up and leaves and Brigida runs to the door to lock it behind him. She then goes over to the bed and starts crying.

The next day, Lucia meets Roman at a café and she thanks him for meeting her. He asks if she needs to talk about Nora and Lucia admits that she’s worry about her. She now knows that she’s going through something that’s worse than she thought. Roman reminds her that whatever is going on with Nora has nothing to do with her and Lucia begs him to tell her what is going on.
Roman reminds her that he can’t break his code of ethics, no matter who she is and Lucia wonders if it has to do with what happened the other day when Nora came home with a blood-stained dress. She has been thinking about it but hasn’t brought herself to say it aloud. Roman asks her to explain and Lucia reveals that Ricardo Marquez, Leti’s father, was murdered that died the same night.
Roman is taken aback and Lucia explains that Nora has no relationship with him but notices Roman’s face and asks if they did. Roman ask that they not talk about things they’re not sure about and to please leave everything in his hands. Lucia asks if he’s going to treat Nora again and Roman confirms he will. Lucia thinks it a good idea and Roman reiterates that she leave everything in his hands, to not pressure Nora and to not discuss her theories with anyone. Lucia reluctantly agrees.

In Mexico City, Rafaela walks into Milagros’ bedroom and finds it empty. Rafaela notices the open drawer that was locked yesterday and runs over to it. The box holding PLOT GUN is empty.

Rebeca is having breakfast with Nora in the garden and berating her for her dumb actions of late. She tells her that her sister is starting to suspect sometimes because she was dumb enough to take off her bandages after confessing Ricardo’s murder to Roman. Nora tells her that even if Lucia knew, she would not tell the police. Rebeca reminds her that Lucia hates and Nora agrees that she should but she doesn’t think she does. Rebeca tells her to think in long term but Nora wants to be left alone to think about what she’s going to do. Rebeca agrees but tells her not to come crying to her when she needs help since she trusts Lucia and Roman more than her. Rebeca storms off and leaves Nora fuming.

On top of the stairs leading to the front door, Rebeca finds Milagros, who is walking up to her, clenching her purse tightly. Rebeca asks her house she got inside and Milagros tells her it was open. Rebeca insists she should’ve knocked but Lucia isn’t there either way. Milagros tells her that she isn’t there to see Lucia but to see her. Rebeca wants to know why and Milagros tells her that she’s there to make her pay for what she did to her son. Rebeca looks over at Nora, who notices the commotion and goes to see what’s going on. Milagros takes out PLOT GUN, aims, and fires at Rebeca. Nora’s screams are the only thing that can be heard…
