EPISODE 47--48

Sagar scolds Ganga. Papa was talking so sweetly to you but you kept quiet. You angered him all the more. What has happened to you? Tell me atleast, I will talk to papa. Talk to me! She recalls her vow to Amma ji. Sagar doesn’t let her go until she tells him the truth. You are certainly hiding something. Did Dadi say anything to you? She shakes her head. He is now cent percent sure that she is scared so she is quiet. She nods but then shakes her head. He requests her to speak up. You used to tell me everything earlier but now you don’t care! You don’t care about me anymore

. I was so concerned for you. I couldn’t sleep the entire night as I was worried about you. I thought you would be hurt and crying but papa is right. You are stubborn. You don’t listen to anyone. He begins to go but she stops her. She agrees to tell him through gestures. He is confused. You can write if you are scared to talk. He realises that she cannot talk. She tries once again through gestures. This time he tries to figure out everything. Dadi has made you take up a vow to keep quiet? He wants to tell it all to his father but she requests him not to do so. He wonders why she doesn’t want him to tell it to anyone. We should share it with papa. He will become all the more angry if you keep quiet. Atleast I can talk to him. I will talk to him don’t worry. 

She makes him take a swear on her. He agrees for her sake but is still not sure why she is doing so. He runs off to tell the same to his mother.

Madhvi gets a sprain in her back while tidying the bed. Maharaj ji is concerned seeing her in pain. She doesn’t let him share it with Niranjan as he is busy in his study. You will have to handle the kitchen work today. He nods. Sagar comes running there to tell his mother everything. He notices her sitting in pain.

Amma ji is reading mantras when Ganga comes running there. She tries to explain the situation to her but Amma ji cannot understand her gestures. She dismisses her. let me concentrate. Ganga wonders how to tell Amma ji. She only made me swear to keep a maun vrat. Why don’t you understand! It will be a big problem if Sagar tells the truth to Bahu ji.

Sagar offers to massage his mother’s back but she assures him that Maharaj ji is bringing pain relief spray. She reminds him that he has to go return Shruti’s notes. He leaves for his room. I will share something with you when you are well. It is about Ganga. She nods.

Ganga is all tensed. She notices Sagar running towards his room. Maid tells Maharaj ji to go to the study room as Niranjan is calling him. He gives the spray to Ganga to give it to Madhvi. Ganga is all worked up thinking that Madhvi will tell Babu everything now. He will get all the more angry. Sagar got me in trouble.

Sagar leaves for Shruti’s house. Pulkit is talking to someone about one particular day where he and his friends had seen a movie together. His friends still tell him to join them. We will go to mall. Pulkit is tempted but scared of his father. His friend talks against it. Papa lectures everyone all the time. It is nothing. We are right outside your house. Come, join us!

Madhvi is in very much pain. She is having trouble breathing. The pain is unbearable. Ganga comes there. She tries to help Madhvi but has no idea how to do it. Madhvi sends her out to call someone asap.

Pulkit’s friend talks about his new phone that his father had brought from Singapore. It is the latest model. Pulkit agrees to come. He thinks of escaping from the balcony. Ganga tries to stop him and tell him about Madhvi but he tells her to save him this time like he helps her always. He leaves. Ganga runs up to Amma ji to explain Madhvi’s situation to her. Madhvi is writhing in pain. Amma ji is unable to understand her so Ganga runs towards the study room.

Ganga comes running to the study room. She signals Niranjan but he tells Raghav ji to send her out. Raghav ji tells her thus but Ganga cannot leave. She cannot even talk as she has sworn in on her Bappa’s name. Niranjan makes Raghav ji take her out and closes the door from inside. Ganga gets an idea.

Madhvi is in terrible pain. Ganga runs on the street bare footed while praying for her Bahu ji to be all fit and fine. On the other hand, Madhvi tries to get up but in vain. Ganga reaches the local hospital. She signals the doc to come with her asap. He thinks that she cannot speak and goes with her. Madhvi somehow tries to reach for the spray but it falls from the table.

Maharaj ji and Amma ji talk about how water comes only at specific time these days. Maid comes to Madhvi’s room and finds her lying on the floor. She calls out for everyone. Niranjan and everyone come there. He makes Raghav ji call the doc. I will bring her to hospital right away. Niranjan picks her up. Ganga and doc are on their way. They reach there just when Niranjan and Madhvi are leaving in the car. Doc asks her why she stopped. The patient seems to be in a bad condition. Don’t worry she will be fine. You are a great girl. you came running to me bare footed. Stay blessed! He leaves.

Madhvi is diagnosed with kidney stone problem. Doc assures them that the stone is real small. It can be fine with medication.

You wont have to get a surgery done. Madhvi is feeling better now. Doc gives her special instructions about her diet. Many patients avoid coming to see a doc when the pain starts. You too did the same mistake. You should have come here as soon as the pain had started. Niranjan too is confused. I was at home yet you dint tell me. Why? She tells him that she had told Ganga to call someone for help. Maybe she forgot.

Ganga is praying. She thinks of Madhvi. Bahu ji loves me so much. If my mother was alive then she too would have done the same. I love her so much. Please don’t do anything wrong to her. I can do anything for her. If the doc would not have understood me then I would have even broken Bappa’s swear too.

I wouldn’t have let anything happen to her. Please make her well asap.

Amma ji is pacing in the house when Prabha and her husband come there in a rush. Prabha is concerned for Madhvi. She overreacts though. Even Amma ji is unable to connect to Niranjan. I am really worried. Niranjan, Raghav ji and Madhvi return home just then. Ganga is happy to see Madhvi home all safe. She stands behind a pillar to watch them from a distance. NIranjan tells his family members about Madhvi’s condition. It can be treated with medicines. She wont need any operation. Amma ji is glad that there will be no operation. Are you alright? Madhvi nods. Prabha takes Madhvi to her room. Amma ji confirms with Niranjan that there is nothing to worry. He speaks about the incident and notices Ganga standing at a distance.

Niranjan takes Ganga to his study room. Amma ji follows him tensed. He questions Ganga. Madhvi told you to bring someone yet you dint share it with anyone. She was writing in pain yet you kept quiet. We all were at home. Why dint you tell me? Did you forget it? She explains to him through gestures. Amma ji watches everything and is scared. He still scolds her for being so careless. What if Madhvi’s situation had worsened? I cannot believe it that you can do something like this. She loves you so much and so do you. You had taken her side that day when I had blamed Madhvi for the store incident. You dint like it that I was talking badly to her. 

Madhvi would not have spoken wrongly to you too. She even argues with me for you. Why are you quiet? How can you be like that that you can overlook just overlook the person who is in terrible pain? How did you change so much? For what? There must be some reason. I am so angry with you. I thought you are a responsible girl and loved you like our own but you proved me wrong again. you don’t care about us at all. Weren’t you bothered seeing Madhvi thus? Ganga maintains her silence. She gets up and runs out of the room.

He shouts after her but Amma ji tells him not to ruin his health. Madhvi is fine. He still cannot understand how Ganga could do this. How did she change so much? Amma ji fills his ears against Ganga. She might have taken your scolding to her heart. He says it is her stubbornness if it’s true. We have done so much for her. She should study if she wants to be independent in life. Amma ji nods. This girl is very stubborn. But I am done with her. I have decided not to say anything about her. He finds sense in her words. Our love has spoiled her instead. I wont have forgiven Sagar or Pulkit if either of them would have done so. 

You only can take care of her. Agreed that we share no relation with her but now that we have taken up this responsibility then we will do it. Will you handle her? She agrees. I will do it but in my own style. You cannot interrupt me in between. He gives her full freedom. We will have to be a little strict with Ganga too. Amma ji takes charge of teaching discipline to Ganga. You will have to trust me though. You cannot question me every now and then. He nods. 

She promises to do so soon. He gets a call and goes outside to attend it. Amma ji smiles thinking of how her plan worked in her favour.

Prabha and her husband put Madhvi in her bed. She tells them to go home as Yash must be waiting. Yash has gone to his tuition. They will go to pick him directly from here when its time. Prabha suggests coming here every day to look after Madhvi but her husband tells her against it. Didi will get busy in taking care of you then. Prabha talks about what happened. why dint you tell anyone that you are in so much pain? Madhvi takes Ganga’s name. Prabha gets angry. What is that girl trying to do? Madhvi takes Ganga’s side but Prabha talks against Ganga. She is not at all responsible that is why she kept quiet seeing you thus. What if something had happened to you?

Ganga is sitting sadly in a corner. I really care for you Bahu ji. I would have been hurt the most if anything had happened to you. I tried telling everyone about your condition but no one could understand me, neither Pulkit bhaiya nor Amma ji nor Babu. I couldn’t talk as I had sworn in my Bappa’s name. I was feeling very bad seeing you writhing in pain. Niranjan and Amma ji notice her thus. She makes him tell Ganga what they have decided. Amma ji calls out for Ganga. She looks at them and gets up. Niranjan tells her that they have decided to let Amma ji look after her from today onwards. You will do whatever she asks you to do. You will not give anyone a chance to complain this time if you love or care for us even a little bit. He leaves.

Amma ji sits down on the bed. She tells Ganga that NIranjan is angry right now but he will be fine in a day or two. He will start talking to you again soon. I am here for that, don’t worry. Anyways, you got what you wanted. You don’t have to study anymore. But you will have to do what Niranjan has told you to do. You will have to listen to me if you want your Babu to start talking lovingly to you again. You don’t have to tell anyone about your maun vrat. She nods tearfully. She is still quiet so Amma ji finally tells her maun vrat is over now. Ganga starts crying. Amma ji is confused. You can talk now. Why are you crying? Ganga shares that Sagar knows the truth. He had said that he will tell Bahu ji. Amma ji is taken aback.

Sagar comes to see his mom. What happened to you? Madhvi assures him that she is fine. Prabha talks against Ganga. She tells him what had happened. Ganga dint tell anyone anything. She was all quiet. Sagar recalls Ganga telling her the truth. He turns to Madhvi. I want to tell you something about Ganga. Ganga comes rushing there just then. She apologizes to Madhvi. I made a very big mistake. Sagar denies. She is not telling you the entire truth. I will tell you everything. Amma ji comes in to tell them. Ganga is young. She made a mistake. She forgot about your condition. She prayed nonstop when you were taken to the hospital. She is arrogant and stubborn but loves you a lot. Epi ends on Ganga’s face.

 Sagar asks Ganga why she dint tell the truth. She cannot tell as Babu had told her to listen to everything that Amma ji says from today onwards. Amma ji had made me swear in my Bappa’s name. I anyways made a mistake by sharing it with you. You please don’t share it with anyone else. He leaves from there upset
