THE PRESENT:
Raquel tells Damian that she wants divorce because she doesn’t love him anymore. Santiago then tells him that now that he knows what Raquel wants,
Nico reproaches Mia for bringing her dad Damian to his house and she says she only did that because her dad only wanted to speak with his dad but never though her mum with there with Santiago. This generated into huge argument and Nico has to leave to stop it. Leonardo then tells Mia that she has to heal all the hatred that she feels in her because that only hurts people and herself.
Damian tries to explain to Raquel and Santiago that he and Carolina tried to control their feelings for each other but they couldn’t because their love was stronger and Carolina in fact wanted to leave him (Santiago) but since he was a coward, he couldn’t stop Carolina from separating from her husband. Damian wants Raquel to be back with him but she says that is impossible and Damian thinks Raquel truly hates him for what he did but if that is so then she and Santiago are doing same but he can see theirs looks like a revenge but Santiago tells Damian that he and Raquel love each other with respect.
Raquel ballistically accuses Damian for having cheated on her and driven her crazy. Santiago demands Damian to say what he did to Carolina and he asks him if he knew that his wife Carolina was pregnant for him but because of him she died with her son.
Andres threatens Fede with killing him and Azucena if they don’t tell him everything they know.
THE PAST:
Damian and Carolina meet in a hotel, but Carolina’s cell phone dials Nico’s telephone number without them noticing it and Nico listens to his mother having sex with another man and he becomes so anxious because at that moment he was at the construction side with his father Santiago. He becomes so disturbed that his father Santiago asks him his reason but he says he can’t say anything because he never wants to hurt him since doing that will do exactly that. Carolina later realizes that she called Nico unknowingly and she becomes uneasy and decides to go home. Damian then proposes to Carolina to run away together.
Carolina arrives home and Carolina asks him what he heard on the phone and he tells her that he heard nothing because all he can say is that what he heard couldn’t have been his mum doing that. Carolina texts Damian to let him know that Nico in fact heard their moaning.
Nico then calls Vicente to ask him if he knows what his mother is doing behind his dad’s back but he never said a thing.
Damian tells Raquel that he will make a trip the next day because it’s a business trip yet he still has nothing to explain to her and this makes Raquel becomes a bit suspicious.
Vicente compels Damian to give him his money and he says that will be the last time he will give him money and Vicente only cares about his money. Vicente and Damian agree so the former receives the money.
Nico meets with Fede and tells him what he heard on the phone after his mum mistakenly called him thus his mum having sex with a different man whiles with his dad at the construction site and Fede goes silent. He then asks Fede not to talk about it to anyone because he will do the confrontation himself.
Vicente calls Carolina to warn her to be careful about her son Nico because he’s started asking him questions if he knows about her having an affair with any man but he didn’t say anything. He then tells her that he agreed to meet with Damian to get his last money from him and after he promises that he will never hear from him again and he will start a new life and he suggests that she also start a new life.
Azucena is able to get the money and she calls Damian to tell him to come for it and meanwhile, Miriam was also asking Andres who took out so much money from the company but Andres says he doesn’t know anything and so she should ask someone else. Andres spies on Azucena placing the money in the trunk of Damian’s car.
At that time, Carolina has also packed up her things and bid bye to his family to supposedly meet up with her brother to settle some matters and same vein, Damian also bid goodbye to his family and Raquel thinks it’s looks last his last goodbye to her and she looks sad.
THE PRESENT:
Andres threatens Federico and Azucena with killing them if they don’t tell him what they know about him and his dealings.
Rodolfo gives some compromising papers to Alina stating that they are document that could send Andres to jail and he got it because Azucena sent them to him through his mail because she is terrified that Andres might do something. Alina asks him why he wants to give them to her and he says it’s because those documents puts him at risk since he handles all of Andres legal issues and if he opens his mouth, he will go down to jail with Andres and should he keep quiet too, he is going to put Azucena, Miriam and Fede in trouble. He is really in a great mess.
Alina then thinks Rueda should then do what he thought her whiles working with him in case she encounters such situation that is to, negotiate with the party who will give him more money which is Andres because definitely any of the other party has to lose so to free himself and she suggests to Rueda to forget about Miriam and Azucena. Rueda looks depressed and so she decides to do the negotiation for him and asks him to pack his things and leave the country and she will cover his back for him and forget about those people.
Andres kills Azucena by strangling her out of just a threat to make her speak but that unfortunate thing happens and he calls his men to come get Azucena’s body from his office.
Vicente gives his statement at the station and he still says that he didn’t kill his sister but Antonio still thinks Vicente is still a prime suspect.
Godoy arrives to interrogate Damian and Raquel at Santiago’s house. He asks Raquel if she was at the accident scene because her car was there and Santiago tells Raquel that she doesn’t have to answer anything. Then, Damian confesses that Vicente tries to kill Carolina and he tries to help her and he killed Carolina.
